ne of the advantages of living in an old house is the possibility of
learning history from the items that can be found there. This is what
happened to me. One day, when I went to the garret, I discovered a pile of
old photographs. I decided to check who were the people on these pictures
and how did they happen to be in my house. As it turned out, it was an old
German famliy von Orzechowski who lived near the place I live today. Before
the II World War Mr. Orzechowski was the manager of the Buhl's factory.
Unfortunately, during the war he and his family were forced to leave Poland
and they have left no traces that would let them to be found. Maybe some of
you would recognise one of your ancestors and learn something about your
family?
